Nexum C digital cable

Nexum is our long-awaited line of what some would call "legacy" digital audio cables. While USB and I2S represent the latest - and in some cases greatest - digital interfaces, there is still a strong need for quality S/PDIF and AES/EBU connections. Why? It's simple: many transports and D/A converters still sound best via one of these types.

The Nexum C is our coaxial S/PDIF solution with an RCA termination - the related Nexum B (for BNC) and Nexum A (for AES) are also available now. It features top-tier silver-plated copper internals, with our proprietary overbuilt shielding method, terminated with proper 75-ohm connectors. This type is still arguably the most common digital connection option available and will often be present on everything from high-end dedicated audio transports to more basic CD players. We do realize that "coaxial" technically describes the internal design rather than the connector type. But over the years "coaxial digital cable" has mostly become synonymous with this type using the RCA connector. We try not to take ourselves too seriously so if that's what most audiophiles call it, we won't argue.
