Nexum A digital cable

Nexum is our long-awaited line of what some would call "legacy" digital audio cables. While USB and I2S represent the latest - and in some cases greatest - digital interfaces, there is still a strong need for quality S/PDIF and AES/EBU connections. Why? It's simple: many transports and D/A converters still sound best via one of these types.

AES/EBU connections have long been a favorite choice when it comes to digital audio connections. Not every transport and DAC supports this type, but when it does we tend to recommend it over the other options. AES often seems to give a smoother, more liquid or "analog" sounding presentation compared to other connection types. Obviously every component is different so this may not always be the case.

The Nexum A is our AES solution - the related Nexum C (for coaxial RCA) and Nexum B (for BNC) are also now available. It features top-tier silver-plated copper internals, with our proprietary overbuilt shielding method, terminated with proper 110-ohm connectors.
