The original Veritas Aperta speaker cable is among our most popular models, which we attribute to the phenomenal performance it offers - while managing to keep the price relatively sane. We remain extremely proud of the Aperta and continue to feel it is the best value high-end speaker cable on the market today.

Having said that, we have had a surprising number of folks ask for more of a "cost no object" design. What happens if we stop worrying so much about keeping the price accessible, and just go all-out? That's exactly what we did, and the Aperta SE is the result.

The Aperta SE begins with the same exceptional ingredients of the original model - UPOCC silver and UPOCC copper - but tweaks the ratio in favor of significantly more silver (side note, we tried pure silver and the result was not as impressive, adding some top quality copper in the mix helps keep things more well-rounded). We then add a little something extra (call it our secret ingredient) which seals the deal in terms of unlocking even more resolution, openness, and frequency extension. The result is a world-class speaker cable which competes with others selling for multiple thousands of dollars. We've done the direct comparisons and are very confident in that statement.

The best cable in the world is useless without equally capable connectors. The Aperta SE upgrades from the original design to using all-new banana connectors featuring pure silver conductors, aluminum and carbon fiber shells, and a spring-loaded locking system which expands to ensure maximum signal integrity with your speaker terminals. These connectors are very similar in design and execution to those used in our Argentum interconnect series. 

This listing is for our usual configuration which means a 2.5m pair of Aperta SE speaker cables with the locking banana connectors all around. Special build are available by request - we have a matching spade connector made from pure silver with the carbon fiber/aluminum shell, and we can do custom lengths or even combo banana/spade designs as needed.
