Ultima Network Cables Finally Available

After many months, dozens of prototypes, and extensive listening tests using basically every single competing product in this category, the Ultima network cable is finally here! 

On paper, this should have been a relatively easy product to complete. The Ultima design language was more or less solidified with the initial launch, so it was just a matter of translating that to an Ethernet cable. Oh, and making sure it outperformed our already excellent Connexa mkII product. That proved easier said than done.

Rarely has a product design proved so frustrating, illuminating, and ultimately rewarding. Things which "should" have worked, ended up not working out so well. Things which seemed "crazy" ended up being clearly effective. It was a wild ride, but we're confident that our Ultima network cable will deliver the performance people have grown to expect from an Ultima product. We're particularly pleased with how flexible it ended up being - multiple early prototypes were not so easy to work with, and we thought that might end up being a necessary trade-off to achieve brilliant sound. Thankfully we figured out a way around that, and this cable is now quite forgiving in that area. 

We'd like to thank our beta testers for helping push this project over the edge. At one point things seemed settled enough and we were very proud of the sound we were getting. But a few of our beta testers (with extremely resolving systems) felt that we could push beyond the limits to extract even more performance. We kept at it until we achieved just that.

We are confident in putting the Ultima Ethernet cable against any other product in this space, regardless of cost. And we're proud to be able to maintain the same pricing as our other Ultima digital products. That means while this is not a budget product by any means, it also doesn't have a completely nonsensical price tag. There are well over a dozen options out there costing significantly more than our Ultima network cable, and after doing direct comparisons with nearly all of them, we are very comfortable in our standing as a top-tier offering.
